I got a raise at the beginning of the year because of… inflation or something? I'm pretty sure most jobs don't get a 1-2% yearly raise for all employees.
I get 30 days paid vacation a year. I get a housing and food allowance on top of my base pay. I get crazy education benefits including 4k tuition assistance that doesn't even touch my GI Bill educational funding.
They pay for people to move my stuff whenever they send me to a new base.
It's also basically impossible to get fired.
